Abstract: Underground Economy and Immigration in Italy during Globalization and Selfishness Market Time

The recession that has recently struck Italy, as well as other foreign countries, has made Italians aware of some economic aspects and of how these can affect fi nancial system of families, companies and government. Public accounts and spread determined Italians’ life changing as a result of the fi nancial regulations issued by the actual “Monti’s Government”. Underground economy, established between 16,3 and 17,5% of PIL (from 255 to 275 billion euros), has played a dominant role among the recent occurrences. Black economy benefi ts of lower expenses and transfer its social and fi scal burdens to community, determining this way not only unfair competition but also the denial of worker’s right that should be guaranteed by regular hiring.
