Abstract: Internet-based participative tools: quantitative analysis of CUP Shared
The increase of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has developed e-democracy. E-democracy processes opens up dialogues between institutions and citizens by boosting moments of debate. The results of internet-based participative tools used in Pilot Participatory Experience (PPE) offer an interesting perspective of investigation. Through these investigative insights and active citizen participation, the system can strengthen as a whole by integrating new tools. The participatory experience could be improved by involving citizens in the territory mapping, throughout participative cartography and Geographic Information System (GIS) uses.
