Le antiche fonti termali di Bacedasco (PC). Un progetto di nuovo sviluppo economico del sito
Il saggio presenta la storia delle terme di Bacedasco (provincia di Piacenza, Italia settentrionale), ripercorrendo gli sforzi volti alla valorizzazione del sito ed esponendo gli ambiziosi progetti di riqualificazione territoriale e sviluppo che negli anni sono stati solo in parte realizzati. Benché le terme siano da tempo ormai inattive, si intravede la possibilità di un rilancio economico dell’intero territorio comunale in chiave turistica attraverso il loro recupero funzionale. Ciò potrà avvenire a condizione che sia avviata una valorizzazione integrata dei beni ambientali, culturali, religiosi e, anche, enogastronomici esistenti, da collegare tramite infrastrutture di trasporto ecosostenibili. In questo contesto anche le terme e ciò che rimane del vasto bosco che le circondava potranno diventare un’opportunità di rilancio dell’antica vocazione turistica del territorio.
Abstract: The Ancient Thermal Sources of Bacedasco (Piacenza). A Project of New Economic Development of Their Site
This paper traces the history of the Bacedasco thermal baths (province of Piacenza, Northern Italy) and the owners’ development efforts during past decades and describes the great structural expansion projects that have been partially realized in a territorial perspective over the years. Although the thermal baths have been inactive for many years, their hypothetical functional recovery could outline a possibility of relaunching the entire municipal territory. This project can only be carried out if an integrated vision of still present environmental, historical, religious and even enogastronomical cultural heritage will be supported and if a policy for developing environment-friendly local transport infrastructures will be launched. In this context, even the spas and what remains of the vast forest that surrounded them last century could become a new objective for the development of the ancient tourist activity.
Résumé: Les anciennes sources thermales de Bacedasco (Piacenza). Un projet pour le nouveau développement économique du site
L’essai présente l’histoire del termes de Bacedasco (province de Piacenza, Italie du Nord), retraçant les efforts visant à améliorer le site et exposant les ambitieux projets de réaménagement et de développement territorial qui, au fil de sans, n’ont été que partiellement réalisés. Bien quel es thermes soient longtemps inactifs, la possibilité d’une relance économique de l’ensemble du territoire municipal en termes de tourisme peut être entrevue à travers leur récupération fonctionnelle. Cela peut avoir lieu à condition qu’une mise en valeur intégrée des actifs environnementaux, culturels, religieux et, également, oenogastronomiques existants, à connecter des infrastructures de transport écologiquement durables, soit initiée. Dans ce contexte, même les thermes et ce qui reste de la vaste forêt qui les entourait peuvent devenir l’occasion de raviver l’ancienne vocation touristique du territoire.
