L’heritage termale in Calabria: un quadro evolutivo
Il turismo termale, marginale nell’offerta turistica calabrese, rappresenta una potenzialità ibrida nelle strategie di promozione del territorio e nello sviluppo degli eterogenei sistemi locali. Il lavoro individua una sinergia possibile tra la presenza di stabilimenti termali, il loro livello di turisticità e la possibilità di fare rete con i territori creando sviluppo locale. Un’osservazione ragionata analizza la «linea termale» dettata dalla politica regionale, mentre l’interpretazione dei risultati ipotizza una «rete termale» che aggiunga ai vantaggi di un ampliamento dell’offerta con percorsi salute/benessere, uno sviluppo dei sistemi locali, con conseguente aumento del bacino d’utenza. Gli stabilimenti termali «integrati» con servizi di wellness, pur migliorando la loro offerta, rimangono legati, infatti, a trattamenti curativi con una domanda prevalentemente locale. L’esigenza è un riposizionamento del «prodotto terme» quale risorsa turistica integrata in grado di valorizzare l’heritage termale con servizi funzionali ai diversi target e alle altre forme di turismo regionale, ma soprattutto capace di differenziare l’offerta dai sempre più diffusi e anonimi «luoghi di benessere». Emerge, quindi, la necessità di approfondire in futuro tale studio con un’analisi delle terme nei loro sistemi locali, al fine di formulare proposte per il prossimo piano turistico regionale, che vadano nella direzione di uno sviluppo sinergico programmato di tutti i suoi comparti.
Abstract: Calabrian’s Thermal Heritage: An Evolving Framework
Thermal tourism, marginal in Calabrian touristic offer, represents a hybrid potentiality in the strategies of territory promotion and in the development of the local heterogeneous systems. The paper identifies a connection among thermal establishments presence, level of tourism and the possibility of making system. A reasoned observation analyzes the «thermal line» wanted by regional politics, while the results interpretation supposes a «thermal network» that, to the benefits of the offer widening with health/wellness routes, join his growth to the local systems development, value-added to the same offer. Thermal establishment «integrated» with wellness services, also improving their offer actually remain tied to curative treatments with a mostly local demand. The requirement is a thermal baths product replacement as a touristic integrated resource to be able to exploit the thermal heritage with functional services to the various targets and to the other regional tourism offers, but, above all, able to differentiate the offer from the always more widespread and anonymous «wellness sites». It comes out, as a consequence, the necessity of deepening in the future this study with an analysis of thermal baths in their local systems, with the purpose to make proposals for the next regional touristic plan, going in the direction of a synergic programmed development of all his sections.
Résumé: Héritage thermal de Calabre : un cadre évolutif
Le tourisme thermal, marginal à l’offre touristique calabraise, représente une potentialité hybride dans les stratégies de promotion du territoire et dans le développement des hétérogènes systèmes locaux. Le travail identifie une synergie possible entre la présence des établissements thermaux, leur turisticité et la possibilité de faire réseau avec les territoires en créant développement local. Une observation raisonnée analyse une « ligne dictée » par la politique régionale, tandis que l’interprétation des résultats suppose un « réseau thermal » que, aux avantages d’un agrandissement de l’offre avec parcours santé/bien-être, associe sa croissance au développement des systèmes locaux, valeur adjoint de la même offre. Les établissements « thermaux intégrés » avec des services de wellness, tout en améliorant leur offre en effet restent liés aux traitements locaux avec une demande pour la plupart locale. L’exigence est un replacement du « produit thermes » comme ressource touristique intégrée en mesure de valoriser l’héritage thermale avec services fonctionnels aux différents targets et aux autres formes de tourisme régional, mais, surtout, capable de diversifier l’offre des toujours plus répandus et anonymes endroits de bien-être. Emerge, par conséquent, la nécessité d’approfondir dans les temps à venir tel étude avec une analyse des thermes dans leur systèmes locaux afin de formuler un projet pour le prochain plan touristique régional, qu’aillent dans la direction d’un développement synergique programmé de tous ses secteurs.
