Abstract: Female immigration between segregation and emancipation in Brescia, Italy
Investigating the local context of the city of Brescia according to gender geography, it allows to recognize not only the relevant number of foreign women, that nowadays are representing more than half of the total foreigners’ presence, but above all their decision-making abilities and their will to self-affi rmation in social and economic fi elds, in a spatial relationship that constantly changes and refl ects the evolution of the traveling experience.
