La cooperazione transfrontaliera per le aree protette nell’Eurodistretto Adriatico
Abstract: The Cross-Border Cooperation for Protected Areas in Adriatic Eurodistrict
In the last years, Molise, Albania and Montenegro are experimenting forms of cross-border cooperation for executing of Eurodistrict Adriatic and establishing common functional goals for socio-economic development, like building/organization of sustainable tourism. In this context, the municipalities participating to the Eurodistrict are interested in the establishment of marine and coastal protected areas. Then cross-border cooperation is focusing on following aspects: legislative recognition of unprotected areas, specifi c professional training, improvement of infrastructure networks and equipment and intangible assets, as well as the development of tourism supply.
