Abstract: The Thermal Baths of Vulcano: an Eco-Sustainable Touristic Resource
This contribution highligts the essential role of wellness tourism within the new territorial policies. Vulcano is the ideal destination to spend regenerating holidays characterized by wellbeing, relaxtions and spa treatments. It is possible to observe numerous volcanic phenomens here, from smoke clouds, vapor spouts and sulphuric mud holes know for their therapeuts properties. The study aims to identify the environmental, cultural and economic local resources, for the growth of a new planning focused on sustainable development.
