Abstract: Territory and Foreign Immigration: Ten Years of Research Experience Through Field Surveys

The paper provides a human-geography point of view on applied research methodology in intercultural themes and presents some results of ten years of research conducted in Tuscany through fi eld surveys in three distinct areas – Florence, Empoli, Pontedera – located within the main immigration region in central Italy.
