Abstract: Immigrants and Integration in the Urban and Territorial Polycentric System of Syracuse

Syracuse, one of the fi rst provinces of Sicily to be affected by migration and the consequent phenomenon of social exclusion and labor exploitation against migrants are engaged in various seasonal activities, is the point of contact between the migrants and the population. Today Syracuse emerges in the Sicilian migratory context as a multicultural city where different cultures they are interwoven.
