Abstract: Tales from the Neighbourhood
Through an interdisciplinary approach, this paper aims at considering the role of neighbourhoods in contemporary cities. It suggests that describing neighbourhoods through traditional urban or geographical analyses cannot suffice, and proposes to employ unconventional representation strategies, such as tale-telling, to help us build efficient and thick urban descriptions.
