Call for papers in the Journal of Alpine Research : “Degrowth in Mountain Tourism: Future Challenges and Prospects of Tourism in Mountain Regions”.
The Special Issue focuses the concept and application of degrowth thinking, and the various approaches and initiatives it may subsume, to mountain tourism. We are looking for contributions from a variety of social science disciplines, focusing on theoretical and conceptual aspects and/or case studies in mountain areas, where possible from a comparative perspective.
The Journal of Alpine Research (Revue de géographie alpine) established in 1913 is a multidisciplinary journal whose aim is to provide a forum for the dissemination of academic research on the Alpine Arc and mountain regions worldwide.
